What are the HYSC travel soccer requirements for players?
While HYSC encourages all interested players to tryout for teams, there are certain commitments that are required once a player is placed on a roster. Players who fail to adhere to these requirements hurt the strength of the team.
HYSC travel soccer is a two-season FULL year commitment (spring and fall).
Once a player tryouts and registers to play, they are on the team roster for the Fall and Spring seasons.
The Fall travel soccer season is from September - November
The Spring travel soccer season is from March - June
REGISTRATION & TRAINING COSTS:
The cost of the full year program for registration and training for U11 & older is $750
The registration & training fees includes all games and practices run by professional trainers for the fall and spring seasons. The club registration does not include uniforms or winter / summer programs or tournaments. Participation in Tournaments, winter and summer programs are strongly encouraged.
HYSC provides opportunities for players that want to play soccer all year round.
All HYSC travel soccer players for Fall 2017 / Spring 2018 are required to purchase the new player uniform package ($200) which includes home and away jerseys, shorts, socks and HYSC soccer backpack and warm up suit.
Fall & Spring Registration & training fees include:
- 1 OPTIONAL (but strongly encouraged) Strength and Agility Training (SAQ) on Monday nights at HHS
- 2 MANDATORY 90 minute Team practices (times and locations TBD)
- 1 MANDATORY game* every Sunday for 9-10 games in the fall and 9 or 10 games in the spring

*Games are divided equally between home and away. All home games are played in Harrison at HHS, LMK, HAS Feeley Field or Holy Child. All away games are within a 30 minute drive from Harrison.
